Our Story
A Crazy Idea
Hannah and Brady are the founders of Seven Sundays. Their interest in muesli began during their honeymoon in New Zealand. The official story describes muesli as the first recipe created under the Seven Sundays name. Together, those details place the founders, New Zealand, and muesli at the beginning of the brand's story.
Humble Beginnings
In the summer of 2011, the first bag of Seven Sundays muesli was sold at a Minneapolis farmers market. During the early years, Hannah bootstrapped the business with an old Raleigh bike, a trailer hitched to the back, a friend's restaurant kitchen, and a basement office.
Cereal Company Overnight
After a story that began with muesli, Seven Sundays launched its own cereal in 2020. That launch marked a new chapter: the company that had started with a muesli recipe was now making cereal of its own under the Seven Sundays name. The 2020 milestone is the turning point at the center of this part of the story.
Family Business with a Big Heart
Seven Sundays is a family business supported by a team of real people. The company's official story emphasizes that team and its belief in real food grown on farms. As Seven Sundays describes it, the business, family, and team have grown over the years while those people and farm-grown food remain central to its point of view.
The Meaning
Seven Sundays
In our family, Sundays are time to slow down, reconnect with the people and things that matter most, and step away from what does not. They make room for intention and a clearer perspective on the week ahead.
The name Seven Sundays carries that meaning into every week: a reminder to choose connection, perspective, and purposeful time for what matters.
